Pastor Yvette was raised in the small country town of Farmville, North Carolina.  She attended Pitt County Schools and graduated from Farmville Central High School.  Pastor Lowe is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a BS in Biology.

She has served under several ministries using her giftings and talents.  She attributes her passion for the Word of God to the teaching of the late Bishop Otis Lockett, Sr.

Though she knew the call of God was upon her life for many years, it was not until August 2008 that Pastor Lowe delivered her initial sermon.  She was ordained in December 2010 as an Evangelist. Pastor Lowe received her Masters of Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in May 2010.

She launched GEM in August 2012 in the city of Greensboro, NC  and was installed as Pastor the following month. The ministry relocated to Burlington, NC in December 2013.

As we say, the vision and mission has not changed just the location; God is God everywhere.   GEM's apostolic spiritual covering is Apostle Glen Prince of Elgin, IL.  Pastor Lowe wears many hats as Founder/CEO of Yvette Lowe Ministries and launching HELP Care Center, a 501c3 non profit, as a bridge to build stronger and healthier families.

Pastor Lowe ministers the uncompromising Word of God with boldness and enthusiasm. Her love for people and God is evident in each dynamic message she preaches. Pastor Lowe ministers with authority and believe that if you allow the Word of God in your heart, it can and will change your life forever!

Pastor Lowe is married to Maurice Lowe and they reside in Greensboro, NC . They have two children, Yazmyn Maureen and Zavier Jeremiah.  She enjoys spending time listening to music and reading.

She seeks a life a true worship that demands sacrifice and obedience.  They that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.  Truth is the total reality of who God is and who I am in Him.  Greatness begins by knowing who I am.

Her favorite verse, " In Him I live, move and have my being"....Acts 17:28a
